Wall Street finishes mixed amid GDP and Fed
FXStreet (San Francisco) - The US stock market closed mixed on Wednesday as investors digested better than expected US GDP as well as another taper in the bond buying program of the Federal Reserve.
The Dow Jones closed negative for fourth day in five while the Nasdaq was up for first time in the last five sessions.
The S&P 500 added 0.12 points or 0.01% to finish at 1,970.07; The Dow Jones declined 31.75 pts or 0.19% to close at 16,880.36; while the Nasdaq Composite won 20.20 pts or 0.45% to 4,462.90.
