Lockhart coming in hawkish too

FXStreet (Guatemala) - Voting member Dennis Lockhart , President of the Atlanta Fed is backing a Dec rate hike as well this week and markets are getting behind the greenback on interest rate divergences across the board.

His key comments were:

Inflation well anchored.

Fed lift off appropriate soon by gradual.

Still a close call and data dependent but case for a hike should strengthen between now and Dec.
