Tsipras requested bailout extension again – FT

FXStreet (Mumbai) - As per FT reports, Greek PM Tsipras requested again for a bailout extension.

In a leaked copy, PM Tsipras asked Eurozone members to re-examine their position on the issue and support the reconsideration request from Greece. Tsipras added that the decision would help achieve the common goal – secure fiscal, financial debt sustainability, that will return Greece to growth within the Eurozone.

The country is scheduled to make a loan repayment to the IMF tomorrow. Meanwhile, a Greek finance ministry official said that they will announce the method of pension payment by 4 pm local time today.

US 10-year Treasury note futures net bearish positions dropped last week

As per the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) decreased their overall bearish positions in the US 10-year treasury note futures last week.
