Key Quotes

"Long USD positions bounced higher in the latter half of December returning to their highest levels since late October."

"Having lost ground in early December, net GBP shorts are on the rise again following a bout of weaker than expected UK economic data."

"Having dropped back in early December, AUD net shorts have risen again. Although CAD shorts fell moderately in mid-December, the move proved temporary."

"CHF net shorts were consolidative. The previous week shorts increased significantly after the previous week’s SNB policy meeting inspired dip."
